Dan is the co-founder and CEO of Plus. Plus makes integrations as quick and easy as taking a screenshot, so your team can get their data where they need it. Dan is also a venture partner at Madrona and works on identifying new investments and supporting the growth of Madrona’s portfolio companies.
Dan first joined Madrona in 2015, focusing on investments in low-code tools, productivity platforms, and online communities. He led or worked closely on Madrona’s investments in Rec Room, Common Room, Coda, and Snowflake. In 2021, Dan co-founded Plus with backing from Madrona.
Dan publishes a popular newsletter, The DL, about the Pacific Northwest tech, startup, and investing community. He is also actively engaged in the Seattle business and tech communities through organizations such as the Pacific Science Center and Challenge Seattle.
Prior to joining Madrona, Dan worked at the Boston Consulting Group. At BCG, Daniel worked on a variety of strategy and operations projects, ranging from developing go-to-market strategies for cloud platforms to deploying new technology systems to improve the quality and speed of insurance claims processing.
